FAQ’s

All new projects come with a 15-minute complimentary consultation.    We are available Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4 pm (EST) to schedule a consultation at a rate of $225 per hour.

Laurenceau Design Studio, LLC. operates Monday-Friday, from 9 AM – 5 PM EST. We are closed on weekends and all major holidays. No communication will be done outside of those business hours.

I communicate via email and text message, for paper trail purposes. We do accept phone consultations however please schedule a meeting to discuss your project on our booking link.  BOOK Follow-up Call  Please allow 48-72 business hours for a reply to your inquiry. Inquiries will not be responded to on the weekends.

All projects (excluding website design projects) require payment in full before any work is started.  All deposits & payments are non-refundable; NO EXCEPTIONS.

I require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit payment for projects over $1000. Projects under $1000 require payment upfront in FULL that is also non-refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS.  Both upon Conditions and Terms of Use approval and project start. I accept payments via debit card, credit card via PayPal, Invoicing via PayPal, as well as by business check only.

Once a payment or deposit is made, it is non-refundable. If a project is canceled or postponed, all monies paid are retained by Laurenceau Design Studio, LLC. and if applicable, a fee for all work completed beyond what was already paid for shall be paid by the client.  You can make cancellations at any time prior to the work being completed, in writing (email is acceptable). Please keep in mind that the deposit is non-refundable.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  If after project commencement client communication (face-to-face, telephone, or email) stops for 30 days, the project may be terminated, without notice, and Laurenceau Design Studio, LLC. shall retain ownership of all copyrights.

Once your payment is received, you are officially marked down as a client, and we can proceed. For logo development projects, please fill out the LOGO DEVELOPMENT QUESTIONNAIRE.

For all other services, PLEASE EMAIL the following:
Logo – Please provide your logo in HIGH QUALITY .png (transparent background) format.
High-Quality Photos – I DO NOT work with cell phone or low-quality images. Professional photos only. If needed, I can implement one, or several of my purchased stock photos, in your design.
Verbiage – Please have the design verbiage clear and concise, for your design. Typed and sent in a Word or Note document. Names, titles, wording correct. Laurenceau Design Studio, LLC will NOT BE liable for any misspelled words, bad grammar, etc.

Most design jobs (excluding website design and logo/brand development projects) can be completed within 5 to 7 business days. If we are unable to complete your job within that time frame, we will notify you prior to starting your job.   For Logo/Brand development projects, most projects can be completed within 14 business days.  You are allowed 2 rounds of revisions, each round of revisions will be completed within 5-7 Business Days from receipt of revisions.  For Website design projects you will receive a link to view website within 3 – 6 weeks from receipt of payment and required information to get started on the design.  Website design projects are typically completed within 60 business days.

For print orders, once the designs are finalized, the files get sent to the printing company that Laurenceau Design Studio, LLC partners with, and the production time is generally 7-15 business days. Depending on the project that needs to be printed the turnaround time may be shorter or longer.  You will receive a more accurate timeframe once the file is submitted for print.  Once shipped, you will receive a shipping notification via email. If you need to expedite your shipping, you can inquire via email.

Most Design Projects – Revisions consist of color change, a change in font selection, a change in the photo that was previously provided by the client, a change, or edit in the content/verbiage that was provided by the client.  However, if the revisions requested are a total redesign or a total concept change an additional cost will apply.  If the revision requires proofreading, content editing, and correcting grammar additional cost will apply.

Logo/Brand Development Projects – Revisions consist of color change, a change in font selection, or a change in the pattern/element(s) used in the logo design.  However, if the revisions requested are a total redesign or a total concept change an additional cost will apply.

Website Design Projects – You are allowed 2 rounds of revisions, each round of revisions will be completed within 5 – 10 Business Days from receipt of the revisions.  If the revision requires proofreading, content editing, and correcting grammar additional cost will apply.  If additional website pages are needed for your website project this will change the scope of the project and the contract will need to be revised and the additional cost will apply.

Yes! You have full ownership of your logo, or any other design service provided. Logo files are provided in png, jpg, pdf, .ai, and .eps formats. Laurenceau Design Studio, LLC retains the layered .psd Photoshop file. If needed, the .psd file to your project can be purchased – inquire via email at patricia@laurenceaudesignstudio.com.

Laurenceau Design Studio, LLC. has been in business for over 10 years.  To date, we have only had 2 clients that have canceled their project with us.  We make every effort to gather as much information as possible and have a clear understanding of what our clients want to see in their finished design.  However, if it comes to this, unfortunately, there is a no refund policy in place for projects already started.
